Huntsman discontinued products:

Araldite 2041-1

As part of Huntsman's extended storage stability testing, they have noticed slight settlement of the material in a limited number of cartridges, which, in certain circumstances, could lead to inconsistent curing.

Araldite CW1991

Huntsman have ceased supply of CW1991, suggested alternative is CW5631 with hardener HY5610.

Arathane CW5633

Huntsman have ceased supply of CW5633. The recommended replacement is Arathane CW5620.

Araldite MY753

Huntsman Advanced Materials has ceased production of Araldite MY753 due to the toxic nature of the ingredient dibutyl phthalate.

The replacement product is called Araldite DBF. This product has been available for over 2 years and has successfully replaced Araldite D, the European version of MY753. The experience over the last two years has shown that Araldite DBF is almost identical in performance and characteristics. We are confident that you will see very little difference but recommend testing to ensure fitness for purpose for each application Samples of Araldite DBF are available on request
